Question Boost or Bling?

Aight, I think I see some more upgrades coming for my car in the near future (shhhh). Which do you think I should do?

-More parts for the custom fab'd turbo kit (turbo, electronics, intercooler, etc... the majority of it)
-S52 cams and rims
-Full M3 body kit (except mirrors obviously) and rims
-CF hood and rims
-Tranny conversion

When I say rims, I'd like some GT3's, but I don't want to spend too much on them. If that option is the direction I decide, there'll need to be some debates on what style. haha

(oh, and no matter what, I'm probably going to get new fogs and an xenon hid upgrade)

S52 cams and Rims = very fast and good looking car

rims is an absolute imo. And if you're planning on turboing then s52 cams at this point aren't the best idea. I'd get rims and a m3 front bumper.

When you do the full turbo install and what not, swap your tranny around the same time.

It's run to a usb port on the computer for the windows login. I'm still having some power problems with the computer, but how it'll end up working is I turn on the car, 1 second later the computer starts coming out of hibernate. After about 4-5 seconds it's sitting at a login screen, and I have to scan my fingerprint for it to login and be able to be used.

Ah, very true. M3 cams would be counterproductive with a turbo wouldn't they?

Hum, what about rims, m3 front bumper (needed for the intercooler anyway), and just the turbo itself, no electronics or anything else..

Or what about a tranny swap and new LSD? Might be getting a bit over-pricey there though. I wanna keep this modding spree under $2k installed.

yes, and another comment about the whole modding thing, just like jrhaile said, if you are giong to turbo your car, there really isnt any need for m3 cams, and if you do the m3 cams they will be a pain if you do them yourself, secondly, before you do the m3 body kit, get new rims, see how much better it made rooz's car look? and thirdly, your car is fast enough, you have an m50 manifold, UUC underdrive pulleys, so if you do the tranny swap it would be much more fun to drive

If I did a tranny swap, I'd want to do a lightweight flywheel, short shifter, and nice clutch (able to handle the future turbo power) while it's all open....

well, since a turbo is coming your rims I'd say "boost"

And also when I was going to get rims the SSR GT3's were backordered for 6 months.... so might want to check before you make your mind up

But my vote goes to turbo and M3 front bumper (Since NEEDED for the Intercooler), the M3 cams would be somewhat pointless since you are getting a turbo

And on a side note, I can get you a Poly M3 Front bumper for $350 shipped let me know
