i like my e30 spoiler. all the aftermarket ones for e30s ive seen are quite ugly (except the m-technic and bmp one).

Austin, isn't that the stock spoiler lip on the iS models? My friend's e30 318is has that and it is a sick ass lip.

I can't really tell if it is, but all stock spoiler lips on e30s were unpainted plastic... his is at least painted if it is.

no, its not stock on a e30. its a BBS spoiler. i didnt know they made them. someone told me it might be off a e21. but, regardless, it looks super cool.

and, i think the later e30 had painted lip spoilers

My friend's stock e30 318iS has a lip spoiler like that, just a little bit more subtle I guess. And yes, it's painted silver to match. Stock.

that bbs spoiler comes down on the sides, and is wider than the trunk lid. the stock ones are just the width of the trunk, and arent as steep

Since i see so many with the spoilers, i am opposed to them. But i prefer the LTW style spoiler without the spacers...if i had to choose

I have an original LTW GT wing on mine with BMW part numbers and all. I have the risers at home but I dont feel the need to put them on, just way too big. There are two types of e36 M3 spoilers out. The areched one for the coupes and a similar non-arched ones for the sedans. Usualy most poeple dont know the difference and put the non-arched aftermarket knock off's on their coupe and it looks weird. Plus a spoiler is all for looks, unless your doing 100+ and using downforce all the time, there is really no usable reason for one.

Yeah, if I get a spoiler... it'll be just for looks. There's no "need" for a spoiler unless you're taking your car to the track.

If I get a spoiler, I don't want the brake light on it though. I like the simple look without it.

I kinda agree with you, but I mean, if I get that one from that guy, it would be a great deal bcs I wouldn't even need to get it repainted or anything...

I like the eisenhaus/flossman DTM-style wing, as well as the DTM wing by bavauto.
