Brake Light Circuits
well, a couple of days ago my 97 328i is starting to say Brake Light Circuit Check Owner's Manual. Well we checked the manual and it said nothing about brake light circuits from what I've read. the car has about 80,xxx miles and we checked the brake lights and they seem fine but my mom is freaking over it. is this just normal

very normal. You more then likely have a bad brake light switch. Here is the write up on how to fix it:

my 98 328i kinda had the same problem for a bit. the OBC would say "1 brake light fail", what the prob was was just the bulb housing came lose once in a while and now its fine.

Death what your talking about is different. My car always does the check brake light circuit. You can just buy a new piece that goes under the steering wheel area to fix it. There is a DIY on how to do it, I will find it later, like 1:30 am and I got work in 6 hrs..
