got my stromung yesterday!
I did some snooping around my car and see that the stromung looks like a direct bolt on... I have the 2 cats... My question is, how long do you think it will take for install? There are not directions for it.. . I assume I take the old stuff off and put the new stuff on? Do I need mounting hardware of any sort?
most exhaust kits will come with new hardware.... usually the old stuff is rusted on and a pain to get off. I would suggest zapping all the bolts with some good rust eater a few hours before you tackle the install. This should make everything a whole lot easier.
If the kit did not come with new bolts, I would go down to your local autoparts store or hardware store and pick up some new fastners. Just insurance that something won't break down the road.

thanks guys... my skill level is that I just do stuff... I mean, I have never really done anything I couldn't finish. I put in all of my mods. My brakes, my head unit, my CAI, my shark injector (flashed it in myself), my coils (until I still had misfire problems, then I took it in to a dealer to get a better diagnosis).. everything - even my headlights (which required patience because the kit I bought was incomplete, so I had to fabricate a lot of the work)... I just have never done a muffler/exhaust... Thanks for the advice on the hardware, I think I will do that. Anything special needed? I am pretty sure there was no hardware in the box, but I didn't unwrap the styrofoam off of the exhaust. Maybe the hardware is attached?
