Your Ride: 1998 328is
compter stops engine red line at 5000 instead of 7000
ok so i have a 1998 e36 328is, the motor is a m52 with a m50 intake manifold, i have not done the tunning for the engine with the upgrade, i have had this upgrade for over six months, all of a sudden the computer is telling the car to redline at 5000 rpm instead of 7000 rpm witch is the standard redline for this car, could it be the computer changing the redline, or a bad fuse or relie. or could it be the upgrade that i never tunned to the car and now its confusing the computer with the extra air from the new intake manifold
