Talking New Fogs

well my passengers side fog has been cracked so I decided to get some Depo Fogs.

stockies^^ I know thats the drivers side, not the cracked one.

then came removing them... one of the stock brackets broke so I couldn't get it off without taking off bumper, I didn't break it either

Now it's done! finished around 20 mins ago or so.

I used the stock bulbs, I might try that h7 mod or whatever it's called. I'll try a pic at night, should look a lot brighter. If you need any help for those that might install new fogs, just pm me and i'll show you.

Looks good Nick. I would highly recommend either doing the H7 conversion or getting some silverstar bulbs or something of that sort.

are fogs hard to remove? How do you do it? Is there a way to do it without removing the bumper?

yeah tochenzo, its just one of my brackets broke so the screw wouldn't turn unless I attacked it from above, which is why I had to tak e off bumper. You need a really short crosshead screwdriver and some good light in my opinion to do it without taking off the bumper. I also found that on the DEPOS, the cap where the blub screws in has the part where u plug the wire in on the bottom, so it's hard to fit them through the bumper, so I used the stock ones, i'll show you tomorrow, what i'm talking about.

defkon, the stock brackets are different to the DEPO ones trust me, so I had to use the DEPO ones, they are only slightly different. Your talking about just clipping them out to pull them out, and yeah you just get a screwdriver and put it in the top hole on the side of the fog closer to the engine.
