Supersprint Installed!

A broken exhaust donut and a few dremelled off bolts later, I got my Supersprint Exhaust installed.

My first impression was "Whoa, is my car started?" because I'm used to the UUC beast. This one is around stock volume at idle and up to about 3k rpm, with a much deeper tone... which is exactly what I wanted. After you break 3k to 3.5k, it comes to life and roars... also exactly what I wanted. haha

The volume could be turned up a notch or two, but besides that I love this exhaust. It's more practical and less agressive, however I do kinda miss the UUC. We had some fun times together *sniff, sniff*. I remember driving by a mall or something with a few people walking on the side of the street in front of us (backs turned), and I nudge the passenger in my car and say "I bet I can make them turn around.". Then I give the car a small rev, maybe 500-1k rpms, and EVERY SINGLE PERSON always turns around. Nearly never fails. Fun fun fun.

Anyway, this is a bittersweet day. The system u was a little too loud to come in to my house at 1-2am, which I often do. And plus there's a large'ish hill in my neighborhood between my house and the front of the neighborhood, so when I'm coming in or leaving I have to make it roar to get up the hill... meaning it wakes up every neighbor. Heh, I remember once I was leaving at like 8am and my friend was sleeping over at her friend's house next door. I left normally, trying to keep it as quiet as possible, however about 30 seconds later my phone rang and she told me it woke her up, inside the house basement.

In summary, I honestly think I liked the UUC System U tone better... it was the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard on a bmw, however I think the volume of the supersprint is a bit better for my situation.

Pics/videos coming later after people bother me enough to make them.

BTW, thank you very much for this little review here, because the Supersprint was the exhaust I was looking at as well.

I'm actually in the Pacmail office right now looking up your address to send it. Shipping is expensive. It's classified as an "Oversized Level 2" package. hehe

Haha, I actually took pics and videos today, however i left my camera in my car. I'll upload them tomorrow. *grin*

And brien, in answer to your question, it doesn't get annoying at all on long commutes. There's NO drone in the cabin which is awesome.
