a/c system

well my a/c system has been out for quite some time now and here are some things that i have noticed i hear rattling and hissing under the hood with it on and off, it blows hot air, and what seems to be rust<or similar to it> coming from the a/c compressor.

what should i do? right now i blame it on the previous owner who maybe retrofitted it improperly from R12 to R134A

thanks

ok, one of the techs said that you should check it for leaks and if you don't see any sicne you said you hear a hissing//ratteling noise, it's probably your compressor that's bad...

yeah I just got my ac recharged, stayed cool for about 3 days and went back to hot air, wasted my money. So I probably need a new compressor or condensor whatever it is lol.

Could try recharging it with one of those kits that cost around $30 I think.
