Need Help! pulling out my engine...
Hello everyone! Im new in BMW world! just recently moved from Honda to BMW, i thought its time to move on and get a nicer cars. I know everyone will say that i should do research and stuff to find how to take my engine off. Yes i did research, and non of them is helping me right now... I know its pretty straight forward, but when i look under my hood. I end up just looking at the damn engine thinking where am i going to start. I already took off the harness and stuff, what i need to know is how can i take the AC compressor and power steering wheel motor and hang it on the body. I dont know how to take the engine out with out taking the tranny with the engine. I want the tranny to stay in the car, im only swaping another m42 in it. So is there any D.I.Y out there to help me with this issue? I apologize in advance for how ridiculous question this is... Please HELP me!

Take the tranny and engine together out from underneath the car. Swap the tranny onto the new motor and re-install them together as a unit, again from underneath the car.
