I'm usually not a big fan of painted door handles. Depends how they look. There's a local M here that's Alpine White with the handle part of the black door handles painted white, and the upside down U in black of the door handle looks pretty dumb.... if you guys can understand what I'm talking about.

see, I have never been a big fan of cars looking one color from A to Z (Deloriant's car is the ONLY exception to that imo) I think that a contrast between colors is a must, hence my all White/Black theme. IE, look at BMW4Life's Sig he's got a 3 color theme going on white/black/blue and they blend in great!

I hope you get my point, in simple terms, I think that painted door handles would look like crap (again Deloriant's car is the ONLY exception to that imo)

See I'm not really into the two tone car. It just looks cheap compared to all painted the same color IMHO.

I knew coming into this thread I was going to do it. I was just looking for some helpful hints from someone who had done it. Clearly, not many people have.

I have seen it lots around NYC....
but for some reason it looks too plain and boring...
actually it will make you want to paint match your door molding strips and then your bumper strips and then it goes on and on....forever paint matching insignificant bits of moldings on your already beautiful car....

I'm getting the mouldings, hood nozzles, and the door handles(if I can get them off) painted with it on august first.

Wasn't really asking opinions on the look. I'm going to do it with or without your endorsements. I was just wondering if anybody had done it and if they had any problems with it.

I mean, if you can't like that... I give up.

well, I don't think you'd have any issues, IE the E39's have painted door handles..

Well, my car went in and I... didn't tell them to paint the door handles. I don't know why, I just didn't get around to telling them to do it. Perhaps I'll do it in the future.
