E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
I need tires for 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 rims.. my budget is about 100 per tire.
So i was thinking either kuhmo ecsta spt or yokohama es100's.
Im going to be doing some autox eventually, and in know there are better tires out there, but these seem to be a good choice for the money, and besides lets admit it im not really experienced enough to get the most out of really high end tires.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.

If you really want to get performance tires, don't go for those though, I'd suggest some Eagle F1's
Am probably gonig to be running some GT Radial's Champiro 55 (still debating what exact thread wear to go with)
Eagle F1's, even the just the ultra performance ones, are way to expensive for me. Theyre about 150 a tire, and thats just fot 225's, i need 245's in the rear.
I run ECSTA 711's, and am very happy with them. Great grip, even in rain. Once in a while tho, you can feel the car 'drift' slightly on very hard cornering since the sidewalls are not as stiff as others. But hey- what do ya want for 70 bucks a pop? So if that is any indication, the SPT's should be much better.
