E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
Ive been planning on getting an M3 bumper soon (cause of the accident) and i thought maybe i should get M3 mirrors as well to help complemnt the bumper. I have the stock mirrors on right now and they work fine, but there is a few cracks and chips in em which is really hard to see unless you look at ir really close. The mirrors are basicly factory replicas for $300 CDN. Paint and install will cost more. They would look really good with the bumper
Or instead of the mirrors i could get a replica M3 spoiler for about $250-275 as the guy said plus paint and install. As for wether or not it has the 3rd brakelight i dunno but it doesnt matter to me. But which one would probably compliment the bumper and the car more? The spoiler or the mirrors?
get the mirrors. when i had my m3 bumper, mirrors and difuser put on it was really the mirrors that i thought made the biggest improvement. they are just so agressive looking. i think the stock mirrors are just too big and bulky. besides, e36's look good without spoilers. get the mirrors first and you will be happy.

+1
I think the spoiler really detracts from the e36's lines, it just looks like an after-thought.
