Ahh Help Me Pls..
So I have ZKW Euro Projector's with DDE and H1 bulbs. My light pattern blows so much! So I went out and started messing with the screws on the back of them for what I thought adjusted the lights. This did NOTHING but make the light patten worse.. does anyone have a DIY on how to adjust these damn things?

i can help you out a little bit. the screws ontop of the projectors are the left and right aimer thing, and the ones over the higbeams are vertical. dont strip the screws out like i did. i had to use the mounting screws to aim them down a little bit. if screwing w/ a screw driver doesnt seem to work, use an allan wrench (spell check) from then on out. becareful not to dethread teh aimer screw...it can be put back in just takes some time... i hoped that helped
(i needed to change the fuse for my h7's im such a newb lol) later |
hahaha! you need help!! lol
what i mean by that is the guy who knows more than 90% of the people here about cars needs help.. lol |
ahh harsh lol.. way to rub it in :( no I figured it out actually last night... what a pain in the ass. Plastic screws had basically become nothing more then plastic. So I made my own tool to turn the knobs and it worked better that way. And I don't think for a second I know more then most people on here. I've just experienced more with my car then others and have that experience to go from hehe

yes, i do lots of work on cars too, changing the enginge in the BMW was a freakin pain, but ill bet i could do it 10x faster the second time around.. lol
|
yup :P totally... after you do it once, it's 100x quicker the next time around and that's for sure... I'm out.. off to SeaTown

ya the zkws dont have user friendly adjustment screws, thats why i said use an allan wrench and stick it in the back to turn it :). everyone needs help once in a while lol

mine were a pain in the ass to adjust. i finally adjusted the beam so it is decent but i broke the thread when i usdd my finger instead of an allan key to turn it it. i hope they never need further adjusting :bowdown
