i have the ecis intake and love it, its pretty damn cheap too, which makes it easier to buy! i also know aguy that has an m3 exhuast conforti chip and ecis intake on his car and its pretty quick... he also has the h &r cupkit so he can use the power he got to handle in the corners

The M3 will not have the same gains as a UUC System U. Of course, the UUC exhaust isn't going to have anything impressive eihter, maybe 5hp over the m3 exhaust.

Yes very true the UUC System U is pretty pricey, but like the others say forget the m3 exhaust not much hp gain in that, youll eventually want that aftermarket.
http://www.understeer.com/ has lots of misc. addons if u dont want to spend all that hard earned cash on just 1 item. Oh yea check out the stromung exhaust videos, that one sounds pretty good but maybe find it cheaper elsewhere.

best of luck on your decision

If you get an aftermarket exhaust, get the new uuc one, it's like the system-u, but they fixed whatever complaints people had with it. Droning mostly I think.

I first bought a Dinan CAI. I loved it, it sounded amazing. Then I got the uuc system u, and I can't hear my dinan at all anymore.

If you get an aftermarket exhaust with any loudness to it at all, it doesn't matter what kind of intake you have. haha. Beware of the system u though. It has an amazing sound and is nice and deep... however it's VERY loud. If you're trying to be quiet in a neighborhood at 1am, it's impossible. An example is yesterday morning I was leaving at 9am and Natalie (nattles on the forum) was sleeping over at a friend's house next door. She said I woke her up when I left, and I didn't go above 15 miles per hour (i try to keep the sound down in neighborhoods). On the other hand though, if you want to show off on the freeway or something, and you punch it, EVERYONE notices. haha. Even if you're driving alone normally in town, everyone turns and looks when you drive by.

See that is exactly what I don't want... I want a nice extra hummm sound... louder than stock but not loud like that.... that is too much for me... in that case I think that the M3 is proly just right all tho I've never heard it, someone in here rated it a 3 between 1 (stock) and 10 (UUC). In any case I think amma do both if I have enough... I'm hoping to find a ECIS intake for a good price like the one that was for sale here, but it sold before I could get my hands on it
