Guess What I'm Doing Right Now?

I'm holding the ashtray from my car.

I'm dremelling and shaving it down to mod a biometric fingerprint scanner in it (under the flip open lid). Hehe.

It will be used for windows authentication after the computer wakes up from hibernate mode.

Be careful not to tamper with the ibus, if you have it. I was talking to the guy that wrote the code, a lot of people are burning out their control units because they add mods like this and don't factor in the load that should be there and the load that they are giving. If you tap into the ibus you can really fuck it up.

nope, ibus... it is in every bmw after 99, it is the system that links all of the control units together. The iDrive is a pretty interface to view what is going on in the ibus, but the ibus is how your car communicates with itself

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.

I have successfully shaved a hole in the side wide enough for the usb wires to go through.

I just shaved and hacked away the entire side of a perfectly good, brand new fingerprint scanner. This scanner is never leaving the ashtray, it's molded to fit it. haha
