E36General discussion and technical help for (E36) 1992-1999 3 series cars. 318, 323, 325, 328.
OK, YOU GUYS CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND HOW HAPPY I AM!!
After getting some really crappy news at work today about all the wheels I wanted not working out for me, I decided to just shop around. I looked at Tirerack, a website a friend gave from work, google. And at the end I was like why not try ebay.
And I FINALLY found some rims that I absolutely love! Perfect match to what I wanted! See, what I like in rims are the following:
5 spokes,
Double spokes,
Curved spokes,
Nice deep and shinny lip,
18 inches.
And after a few searches I found the following rims. Both PERFECTLY what I wanted!
Here check them out and let me know which you like best, but I think am gonna go for number one in Hypersilver color.

dont go w/ the acs....they are pretty popular and i think the other ones will look better. why dont you want to go w/ the gun metal ones? i think they would look sweet!!!

Don't get me wrong I like the Gunmetal ones too, but around here you see a lot of Honda's and other craps with gunmetals, plus I dunno, my dad keeps saying that the allu ones would add more value to my car if I ever want to sell it (that's the damn car dealer speaking again...)
EDIT: I also think that the Gunmetal gives the car a much more "sporty/racing" look, I kinda want to keep my rims more "classy" and let the rest of the car give a sporty look, I dunno, lol

Either of the following rims would look very sweet, I wish I had enought money to buy both and rock them a season at a time . But I'll be putting them on some low profile GT Radial's they go for like 100-130 a piece, I'd probably end up getting them for like 60-80 a piece , I might not be able to get the rims I want a low price but at least I'll be getting tires at a very low price

DUDE, you are insane. You have to know that teh wheels are what set every major car off. It is the first and last thing people look at. If you want that sporty look, which you do, then you need that gunmetal, it will go so well with your black/white scheme you have. I am very dissappointed you are not going gunmetal.

What's wrong with 5 spokes on Saloons. The right ones look as good as anything else. Easy to clean too.
Nothing, just my personal taste, that's all. They just look aggressive on a 4dr to me. I guess I have that old school "sedan = family car" mentality But I agree, the right ones can look as good as anything else- like your rims for example.

Definetly go with the gunmetal manaray's. Those things are really hot and they look way better than the AC's imo. I actually may want to pick a pair myself sometime if I have the cash. The lip is huge and they just look really freaking awesome. Anyways good luck with your decision but if I was you Id go with the man guns, because they really match with the theme you have. - out
