Also, the problem is that I have a friend from 328i.org that two of his friend have those rims and he says that the Manarays in gunmetal don't look too good in person the gunmetal they have is a little too dark...

And another thing am afraid of is that in time the gunmetal might start to peel off.... But then again I don't know that much about gunmetal, is it kinda like chrome? (Am talking about as far as when they make them)

I am gonna go with the manaray's because I think that the AC's just aren't enougth rim (the gaps are a little TOO big for my taste) my only desicion left is Gunmetal or Silver...

You guys might think am crazy but my mom (yes, lol I know) has a really good point.

Quote:
that "gunmetal" you'r talking about since it's kinda dark, don't you think it will look kinda weird when you driving, I mean all that's going to be seen will be a big all black circle pretty much the same color of your tires. Now if they were somewhat lighter, that would be a different story but that color looks very dark...

I actually saw a white e46 today with black//silver lip wheels (not gunmetal) and in all honesty , it looked kinda odd. And as a friend of mine said it (his roomate has the Gunmetal Manaray's)

Quote:
in person the gunmetal manrays dont look too good. They dont have the class that should go on bmws

to me it sounds like you really would prefer the silver ones. I say go silver so you don't regret your choice

they are both excellent choices, personally I am a little more of a stock kind of guy but I do prefer the AC's they look a little more balanced with the tire, the manaray's make the tire look like it was an oversight and wasn't considered part of the wheel. ( it's that fat lip) ultimately you are the one stuck with the decision so I would completely ignore my insane rantings and buy the ones that give you that warm fuzzy feeling.

Look rooz, I really really like the manarays myself. I really might want to pick them up in the future. Anyways look at this link, its for audi but it has pictures of bimmers with manarays.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

Ok now look at the second car down, the silver e46 with the badass halos and the gunmetal manarays. It really does seem too dark.

Then look at the 2 cars under it, the silver e46 and the z they look way better IMO than the gunmetals. I was leaning towards gunmetal my self but they are really Too dark. If they were lighter like the ssr comps it would be a diffrent story because those look really good. Anyways thats just my .02 cents, im done. - out

That is my point exactly, the Gunmetal that OCW carries is pretty darn dark, too dark. Now if OCW was able to make Manaray's in the third colo they carry (OBSIDIAN) I would have gone with Obsidian Manarays for sure, but they don't so Silver it is
