yes its normal germans arent stupid, my brother had a toyota camry once, man you had to freakin crush the firewall w/the clutch to start the car, in audis, also you dont have to press the clutch

maybe you guys have slightly worn clutches? seems weird that you wouldn't have to press in the clutch.

OBDII has a clutch sensor so you have to push it in before the car will start.

I dont see why you would want that? who the hell leaves their car in gear anyway..

well, everyone should leave their car in gear. The e-brake is not fail safe, so it is very wise to leave your car in gear anytime it's parked. Unless you have remote start or turbo timer

i leave my car in gear all the time because the parking brake is not very reliable.

i cant think of a time i havent left my car in gear...

Komodo- you are nuts with all the computer stuff you re putting in your car! better find a way for that stuff to add 100hp while you are at it haha
