yes its normal germans arent stupid, my brother had a toyota camry once, man you had to freakin crush the firewall w/the clutch to start the car, in audis, also you dont have to press the clutch

well, everyone should leave their car in gear. The e-brake is not fail safe, so it is very wise to leave your car in gear anytime it's parked. Unless you have remote start or turbo timer
