God that sucks, how the hell did they see into the car with all that tint? did they just guess you had a nice stereo and fireworks in the back seat?

i think the idea of double locking doors might be this: if someone wants to STEAL your car, brakes a window, but sees that he cant unlock it, it might not be a good idea to drive off with it because it willb e a pain in the booty.... i dont know, maybe not?
or if a crook wanted to keep it quiet not breaking any windows, if the windows are down a little bit, trying to put his hand down to unlock or using a coat hanger..

but seriously... if a crook wants your car, they can get it... its not too hard.

that is weak, I really hope you find who did it. I got paranoid about mine so I put up a webcam, I don't know if you can see the parking spot from your window, in my case I can. using a cheap logitech quickcam ( i upgraded to the pro version, but it doesn't matter) and catspy (freeware) it will do a motion capture and capture prior to the motion activation. I put it up when I had a hit and run incident on my last car, if I had it up before the incident I could have saved me the collision deductible and it could only have been the uninsured/underinsured deductible. When you have the $$$ you can get a better camera for higher quality/nightvision.

so all you need is a computer (which you have)
a webcam ( nothing too fancy )
and the catspy software (documentation sucks but it is easy to use)

and if you don't like it there are other choices but the freeware works for me. If you need help getting it to work let me know I'll be happy to help. And once you get it in place make sure your neighbors know it is in place. The jackass who did this is probably local to you and knew where and when to hit you.

If you don't have line of sight from a window, you can put a wireless cam in your car and have it go back to your pc, but that is a lot more work and I will go into it if there is interest.
