Need Help!!!!

I am new to owning a BMW so I don't know much about them. I have a 95 318 with a 4 cyl. Went to start it yesterday and all it does is turn over. It turns over fine but it wont start. It had just been drivin an hour earlier with no problems. The enitre time I have it there has not been a single problem no noises, no problems starting and nothing else to give any hint. Also there is no engine light or any other warning light to give a hint. I am clueless with this one. And yes before someone ask (cause I would) it is full of gas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Joe

Can you hear the fuel pump spin up for a second after you turn the key to the On position? If not, then you are looking to the fuel pump or the circuit that powers it.

If you can hear the fuel pump spin up, the next step is to see if there is spark at the spark plugs when it is cranking. This car has spark plug wires so you can check that easily. Unscrew a plug and plug it back in to the wire and ground the threaded part to metal on the head. Have someone crank the engine and see if you get a strong blue spark.

I would have to write a book here to take you through all the branches of the diagnostic tree, but these two checks may start you looking in the right direction.
