I have a '96 328is auto, and I'm looking for the icv. Can anyone direct me to the right location?

It is beneath the intake manifold, adjacent to the throttle body. You can take it out without removing the intake manifold, but it is not easy and small hands are a plus. Colorful vocabulary seems to help as well. ;-)

Plan on replacing the rubber boot over your throttle body. On a '96, it will be very dried and brittle, and will crack when you remove it.
