:rolleyes chime is dinging

Hi Guys
1995 E36 325i there is a chime going off somewhere around the Instrument cluster and it sounds like a DING DING DING but no warning lights or anything else. It only happens once or twice while I drive and it happens after 5-30 minutes of starting the car. Any help is appreciated.

It is probably the switch for the chime inside the door sticking. Mine did this also. If you spray some WD40 into the driver's door where the bracket is it will probably stop sticking. This is what I did and I have not had a problem since.
