Need help to remove driver door window.

First post, need a little help. Bought a 1994 325i convertible, needs a little TLC. The driver's door handle broke, I was able to get the broken handle out without removing the window glass, but I can't get the new handle in. The Haynes repair manual I bought to tinker with the car really doesn't cover a convertible door window removal.

Because the handle was broken you can squeeze the parts out. But the new whole one is larger and will require window removal or at least disconnect the rear portion of the window track and removal of the window guides to tilt it forward. Once done the window will allow enough clearance to install a new handle. Or you can remove the window entirely. (based on a 2 door) search internet for more information is on handle replacement.
