has anybody swaped brakes from an e36 m3 to a e36 318is

I hear M3 has a larger rotor and larger calipers. To swap you need to use the M3 hub to mount everything , then use larger wheels, 17" or up to clear the brakes. The rears are even more complex. I hear they use a different parking brake system.
