How to install LCD ?

Hi guys,

Greetings. New to this forum, previously owned a prelude and celica. Got a white no rust E36 1992 at great price Motor was swapped i think. Guy repainted and replaced a lot of stuff lol.

Anyways , the previous owner left me a headrest LCD ( Just the lcd ) The lcd is not powered either connected, he used this screen to fit in the blank where it use to have the temperature display ect ... So i don't have the clock and i dont have the temperature ...

I tried connecting my home's external dvd burner's power supply (12V ~ 2A) Worked perfectly. The screen has two video output.

I am trying to figure out how to power up the monitor from the car .... I'm looking for a source where i can power it up .... The previous owner already changed the head unit for a after market JVC KD440 something .... I just want to kind of make the lcd to use.

Thank you very much for your help, looking forward this forum =) Have a good day.

Depends on too many things to be discussed online honestly. You'd have to take a bunch of pictures of everything, the headrest, inside of the headrest, LCD's dimensions, recommended power settings (AC can work with DC inputs but can cause video interference), then also the cables being used, how you plan to route them and such. Best bet would be to take it to an installs place to get an estimate
