Arrow Upgrade Help!!

All right, it's time to upgrade my car a bit.

I just ordered my UUC System U, and now I have about another 2-3k I wanna spend on the car.

In my garage right now I have an m50 manifold, uuc pulleys, and an m3 xbrace that I'm gonna get installed.

I'm going to do a fan delete and replace my water pump and thermostat at the same time, but I'm not considering this part of the upgrade because it's more preventive maintance than performance, so don't subtract this from the budget.

I'm also going to pick up a Dinan High Flow Throttle Body in the next few days.

I'm probably going to buy some kind of high-flow race cats and sell my borla x-pipe because the gains are minimial and the emissions could be a problem.

I think s52 cams are a definate, and I'll need the software to go with them (about $650). Anyone know any good places to pick up those cams?

Jrhaile suggested bigger injectors because he said he was running lean after his cams/manifold install. What do you think about this?

So after all that math, that'll probably leave a bit over a grand left to play with. What else can I do performance wise? I'm happy with my suspension now, so I'm looking for more straight line speed. Next buying spree I'm going to do all cosmetics (kit and rims), but this one is performance.

I need suggestions! The sooner the better, I wanna get started on all this stuff this week.

Edit: Or I could just use the rest of the budgeted money and buy an AVIC-N2. That's be pretty hot.

what to do with 1000 dollars to go faster...

TEH NOZ

jk. I honestly can't think of any mods that you can do aside from a new engine or FI. Maybe a fuel pressure regulator, to really hone down on that air/fuel ratio. Spend the extra cash to make sure it's all tuned up correctly.

Don't waist your money on a throttle body. Get a good SSK instead.

How much for your X-pipe? Does it bolt right up?

he has an auto.

but there is an idea Komodo. Ask around, and see what it would take to get an auto to manual conversion. Obviosly more than $1000, but I'm sure not much more. That with a SSK and a new diff. could REALLY help you put some of this power to the pavement.

Also, what kind of tires do you have?

This is coming from a guy who has never driven a manual before, right?

Otherwise I may cry.
