fuel level indicator

hi guys, fuel gauge showing empty constantly with plenty of fuel in the tank. i am guessing sender unit but it would be great to see if anybody else has come across this problem and how they fixed before i tackle it

Usually the sender unit, you can check its output signal with a DVOM set on Ohms.
