1995 318is Mufflers
I have a 318is, 1995 model. I'm thinking of replacing the exhaust system with a stainless steel upgrade muffler system from either Billy Boat or Remus. They are both pricey and they both claim to improve performance and give the car a 'throaty' exhaust sound. I'm more interested in improving the 318's slightly mushy uphill performance than in the 'cool' sound they make. Anyone have experience with this issue?

Exhaust
(first post) I had to replace my exhaust system because my wife backed the car into some cinder blocks and destroyed the system along with several other parts. I removed the system at the header, drove it to the closest exhaust shop (sounded good open header) they fabricated a new system for around $150 total. Sounds good, accelerates much better, and gets better gas millage. I am sure any thing you do to the stock exhaust will be an improvement....
