Unhappy Hello

Hi first time user here, great site loads of info.

Can anyone Help! my 1997 323i rear door locks are driving me made. Started couple of weeks ago, rear door driver's side (UK) would not open, didn't think much of at the time, as it did open eventually. Now locked solid! Tried removing door panel, checked rods ect could see nothing wrong! Thought it was a good idea to remove rear passenger panel other side and compare, still no help. It was getting late so decided to remove battery and charge it overnight. Next day now both rear doors will not open! I am now going to check fuses but where to start?

Hi, how's it going?
Sounds electrical to me. Is it fitted with an alarm? Aftermarket?
Could be a broken cable somewhere along the way.
