18's will fit with no problems as long as they are not wider than 8". I have 18x8 and have never rubbed.

check www.tirerack.com and put in either a E36 bmw or Z series bmw and do a rim match search for 17 inch and 18 inch and it'll come up!

I mean they have every rim possible unless those are custom made rims.
I have... nothing like those came up...
