Spark and Fuel yet no start

Hello all, im experiencing problems with my 94 325is. One day i sat in the car and it did not start. I know the fuel pump works because the plugs are wet, and i also here it working with a automotive stethoscope. I tested spark yesterday by removing one of the coils, and pluging a wire with a spark plug on it, it was properly grounded to the motor. I saw a blue spark several times as i was cranking it, it was dark so I know i saw it for sure. I dont understand why my car doesn't start. If there is fuel going to the motor, and there is spark what else can it be? I also replaced the ignition switch, and put another DME in, that I had. Still doesn't start...its a mystery. My next option is to put a new crank sensor in, as that seems to be the culprit in many cases. However, from my understanding the crank sensor if not operational, there would be no spark or fuel, yet I have both. Any suggestions im stumped....thanks alot...

There are no codes.....because there is no light on....I finally got it started it seems it was flooded some how...pulled the plugs and dry out the cylinders using an air hose. It starts up now. But what can cause this flooding problem? A faulty regulator?

One time i had the same problem and all it was was my negative battery cable wasn't connected tight. I cleaned it and tightened it up and it started right up..
