Covertible Top Rear Seal Gap

On my 97 328, the Convertible Top rear seal has a gap of a inch on the left and 1/2" on the right. It will go all the way down to the back deck as the top latches to the windshield, but will raise back up slightly as the top tightens. I have tried all kinds of adjustments, but I am afraid I am missing something. Does anyone else have this issue? I am thinking the bottom left rail is bent or damaged. Nothing a torch won't fix.
