325i, 325is, 325ic help
I just purchased my first bmw and was amaised at how well it drives for 155k miles. but my queston is what does the I,IS, IC, stand for? Is the I for injected?
learned something myself from that one, lol: "25" in "325" means 2.5 L engine. I probably should've figured that out, but I've never really thought about it before.

David - I have a 1995 325i and it is a conv. why doesn't it have the ic on it if it is a conv.? And what is the sport option? a power increase or just fancy interior?

I think your car pre-dates the "ic" model designation. The "sport" model as I understand it is more for show than go - thicker anti-roll bars etc. no engine mods.
