I hope you got enough info to go after him for the damage and leaving! An article from News4Jax on a more serious case

Hit and runs suck but at least they don't jack your rates on your insurance if you put a claim in. Good luck, reminds me of when I got mine keyed last summer.....fucking bastards!

that was one of the first things i thought about doing, but since the damage is limited to the grills and the piece around them and a HUGE and DEEP scratch in the top of the bumper my insurance wont cover it (it also costs $1600 CDN from the dealer) since its not worth the replacement costs.

i would love if that was true. but what my insurance company is doing is paying the bodyshop for all the work minus my deductible of $500. otherwise i would get it in a heartbeat

Wow Dude....
we share the same "Calypso Red" luck....I left my car parked on the streets of New York last month for about 3 hrs and I came back and found this...

BMW was quoting me $400-$500 to replace and repaint hood. and a hammer out the dents.

Anyway, as luck has it the same week I was suppose to go and get the car fixed a woman drove her SUV into my front fender and her insurance is covering all the work that is going to be done...so my hood and nose panel gets fixed and painted and I don't have to pay no deductables or money to fix anything.
