Engine Upgrade

Hi there all you Beemers, can anybody help me. I am driving a 1997 328 and want to do something spesial on my engine. What would be the best to do on my engine. Please help.

Offhand I'd say don't do a thing to it, aside from performing regular service and maintenance and not beating the h*** out of it, and it'll last you forever...

aftermarket parts would only harm the engine of the car to the point that it gets too expensive, if you want more power and torque get a stock performance car-M3, M5 etc.
