I have a 98 convertible with same symptoms, wet passenger side carpets! Can anyone elaborate on the possible cause and give specific details of fixes. Photos if poss?

Thanks in advance

I have a 2008 530xi, i purchased both the extended warranty and maintenance for a total of $5700. I have 57,000 miles on the car, the battery died. After a 5 day review and $1000 bill, they said the problem was caused by a clogged drain plugs in the sunroof. I service my car regularly and it's garaged, this seems outrageous. I am going to dispute the charge with my credit card company, and am pretty disgusted about how all of this was handled. Is this common? How would I know to rip apart my sunroof and clean the drain plugs? Isn't that what a maintenance visit is for? I am really sickened by the entire rip off. Does anyone know of recalls for seals around the sunroof, or if a additional drain plug should have been installed ~ seems that this drains into compartment that houses both my battery and computer.
