steerin wheel Q.

the outer layer of my steering wheel at the top seems loose, (ITS LIKE THE SKIN OF THE STEERING WHEEL IS LOOSE) is this common? can a sports steering wheel be fitted? any suggestions?

Yes, or you could just go for one of those one piece steering wheel covers. The thing you need to be extra careful about is the airbag. There's a procedure to disarm the system and if you don't do it right you run the risk of an "unintended deployment", the nice way of saying "S*!T it blew up in my face".
