rumblings and grumblings...

Well, I told you all about my loss of power over the weeks, still havent got it to a maintenance shop (way too busy right now, plus I am moving for Pete's sake)... Well yesterday, she starts acting up again, felt like she had the hiccups. I was sitting at a red light and the car literally shook every few seconds, as if it had the hiccups. Just rolled over the 111,000 mile mark too... I hope this isn't the beginning of the end...

anyone experience this?

Dont worry about mileage man your gunna be fine till over 200 if you treat her right..

Anybody have any advice? im thinking its most likely a fuel delivery or throttle problem.. maybe a sensor or something.

thanks guys... yeah it is an auto, and yes the A/C is on. However, the power loss was noticed with out the A/C and it still idles a little too rough without the A/C. I was thinking throttle too, probably needs to be cleaned. And I just had all 4 O2 sensors changed last year, so I sure hope that's not it (those things aren't cheap!)...

Just wondering if there could be anything else I might be missing... Thanks.

You might need to get your ICV (idle control valve) cleaned. What you're describing sounds like it could be that. The good news is to get your ICV cleaned by a shop costs like $20.

Old worn out sparkplugs will do this, usually the OBC will report 'cyl X misfire' in prologed bad idling, and CEL will turn on for about 2 hours after it stops idling funky. They will especially act up if you get a crappy tank of gas.

Probably ICV. If not that, check O2's, fuel filter\pump, MAF...
(fuel filter should be replaced at least every 100K, really easy to get to but gas leaks out of the hoses when you change it so it's messy)

I'd say blow out and clean the icv. If it worked, great. If not, you are out 20 bucks but now have a clean icv so don't have to worry about that anytime soon. Haha, I had mine cleaned a few months ago.

I am moving, so I will be off of work. I can't really afford to be without a car for too long. So, I decided to wait till then. I figure if something goes horribly wrong, I will move it up... It hasn't happened again since last week. I know that doesn't mean it fixed itself, but I am also not as concerned.
