'96 328is fan delete mod and belt change - Tips?

My daughter's '96 328is had the clutch fan fly apart a couple of nights ago but fortunately onle two of the blades broke off and no damage to radiator, hoses or anything else. I've decided it's a perfect time to do the fan delete mod as well as change out the belts. Any tips for a first timer with this DIY? It looks pretty straight forward. Pelican Parts sells an adjuster nut for that model which likely means you can loosen the belts to get them off and then tighten it back up. Does the alternator need to tilt at all or will the adjuster do the trick for both of the belts (she has A/C so I am assuming I'm changing out two belts). Thanks!
