Your Ride: 1994 BMW 525i, 1987 325is, 1986 325
It lessens the amount of travel the shifter moves to change gears (tightens it up). Used more for performance applications, not really necessary in these cars unless you are building a racer (proper racer for like track use, not road use). Can make shifting a little harder. Of course if its a daily driver and it ain't broke, don't fix it until it is.
