Yeah...those rims are the toughest to keep clean...I'd have to wash my rims every other day to keep them silver and not dark grey from brake dust....
I hate my rims for that...I may actually get these when I get some dough...for the summer..

ever heard of ceramic pads? And rim wax? Well, I have ceramic pads and wax my rims every other month or so and I get very little brake dust

No, they are Ex-european Touring cars. They used to be the Aussie Touring cars also. Just some of our track cars. Them and the 540iS are the only BMW's in the stable.
216kW @ 8500rpm, 210Nm. S42 motor. 318iS homologated.
Will try to source a picture of the motor.

In theory, yes. It only takes money. If your 318i is the single cam motor. Then you need a motor transplant. i.e. the M42, which was the road going block. You could then bolt most of the performance bits straight onto that block. The 'S' on all BMW block denotes it is the performance version. For example, an E30 M3 has an S14 block. There are 200 road going 318iS with the S42 block somewhere.
