Cold start only idle fine after getting it started
Hello,
My 96 328i has a problem of starting when cold. I have to actually give it gas to get it to start and idle, it just dies if I don't. But after it is started the it idles fine.
Where should i look first.

Hesitation too
I experienced hesitation on acceleration too. I had experienced it once before but shrugged it off. well yesterday pulling out onto a busy road, I leaned forward as the car didn't go forward, pretty scary.

Hello i would check the idle control valve if it's free, if it's not free clean it with carb cleaner.All the best
