Hi,
I have a '94 318i. I need to replace some drive pulleys as their bearings are getting bad. To figure out which ones I need I have to know if my cars alternator is 70 or 80 Amps. How can I tell which alternator I have, Is it stamped somewhere on the Alternator??

318 is most likely a 70 Amp. You can however just go with the 80 as the car places the demand on the alternator for current flow, not just full output all the time.
