The wheels and tires on the suburban are probably worth more than your car, so I vote yes. If you change your mind later it shouldn't be too hard to come up with $1200 to buy another '92 325.

Flip side of the coin is big SUV's are dropping price too even though fuel is no longer in the realm of stupid high. If you plan on 4by and mudding and the like, go for it. Just know it'll suck as a daily driver, hard to park/see out of and it'll suck fuel most likely around 8-12mpg. 'Burbs corner about as good as a wallowing water buffalo. Just out of curiosity why is the owner of the burb interested in trading? and why trade a newer better vehicle for an older more purpose built rig that will only decline in value? Think it over for a few days first then choose.
