Problem With my BMW E36 318I

Hi all,

Sorry to make this my first post. But i have a problem. My 1994 Bmw has problems starting, when i turn the key i hear a clicking sound, after about 5-6 times it starts and runs fine. I have done some work already on the car which includes

*New Battery
*New Alternator
*Also the car has just had a full service.

I have a feeling it is the starter motor, but due to tight funds, would like suggestions first before i take the plunge.

Thanks in advance

David

clean all the contact points to the starter ,battery connects ,etc see if that helps if not its the starter ,dont think its hard on the 318 to do your self if funds are tight .m50 on other hand is a bitch .good luck
