hey guys new to the site and new bmw owner. was wondering if any one can point me into the rifgt direstion.

Abs light- is there ant way to see why the light is on and stays on without takeing it to a shop? For some reason the previous had 18's on front and 15's on back. would that make the light come on?

2. tail lights- Left side works great. right side the break light works good turn signal works. how ever the lights don't work. Any sugesstions on this?

where can I pick up owner manual for 94 325is

The ABS light could be due to a faulty wheel speed sensor, or a connection that needs cleaning. Pull off wheels, disconnect sensors, use compressed air if you can on it. If that doesn't work, a sensor probably needs replacing, I think to determine which one specifically you'd need to get a diagnostic check.

As for the tail lights, do the simple thing first, see if all the bulb contacts are okay, free from surface corrosion and the like. Beyond that, the problem could be with the wiring harness that can be seen on the left side of the trunk, this is a bit notorious for crimping and severing the wires. I understand there's a replacement unit available if simple splicing and rewrapping doesn't do it.

Get a Bentley manual instead, I think readily available on Amazon or eBay, infinitely better than the owner's manual.

It's the thingamajig in a black cable that runs from the back of the wheel hub to a connection in the wheel well, part no. 34 52 1 163 027, also called a pulse generator, ABS.

abs sensor is a magnetic pulse generator, yes they're on all hubs, you can use a couple of straight pins to back probe the wires, hook them up to a digital multi meter set for volts AC. With the wheel off the ground give it a spin and check for voltage (.5-3VAC), if yes its not the sensor. Mismatched wheel sizes WILL set off an abs light and disable the abs system. They spin at too different a rate from each other (1-2mph will do it) and the system can't compensate. 3050 has your back on the tail lights, that oughta do it.
