idleing problem need help please....
i have a 93 318i, and the problem i have is when u start it from cold the idleing is up and down the hole time until the temp goes up about a quater of the way and it evens out... any ideas wat could be the cause of it and anyway of fixin it...?

does ure car idle fine when engine is hot?
is ure maf sensor working fine?
firstly check for vaccum leaks.
secondly clean the icv valve with carb cleaner and wd 40
thirdly clean the maf sensor element with electrical component cleaner
fourthly check if the two temperature sensors are working fine.
lastly check for leaks in the intake pipe.
