how do i knw my ignition coil is weak?

hey guys is thr anyway to check if my ignition coil is weak??? because when my car becomes warm or reaches normal temperature my cars acceleration dies and feels like its a strapped to a tree no matter how much i accelerate.. it dies.... any suggestions??
