Cooling fan keeps running...please help!
Hey guys,
I have a '96 328i. I got in the car this morning, and when I turned the key, the auxillary fan right behind the front grill came on. I wasn't running any climate control. I only drove about 2 miles, and now it won't shut off. Been running for about 15 minutes. It's only about 50 degrees here today. Any ideas? I pulled the fuse #41 I think, and it turned off. Put the fuse back in, and it turned back on. I'm stumped.
There is a cooling fan temperature switch on the side of the radiator. If this switch fails there is a 50% chance that it will fail in the on position.
