waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster. ahhahahhahaha im on a sugar high woohooo, ive been bondo-ing a car, that stuff smells funny. same engine obviously but lighter. i know the e36 328is is about 3125lbs or something close to that yaaaay. bye everyone!!

Yeah, my brother has a 528i and I mean, no comparaison to my 328is.... lol, but then again my mom drives a 540i and well, my car couldn't even think of being able to compare to that speed wise....

yeah in terms of "faster"-ness this is the order! M5 > M3 > E39-540 > E36-328 > E39-530 > E36-325 > E39-528 > E36-318 > E34-525bah.. :-)

^^^^^ no way. a 540 is too heavy. a m3 would accelerate much faster and is probably quicker on the highway too. 540 would be faster than non m e36. however, i think my car with the camkit and diff would be faster than a 540  |

haha i knew this would start a controversy. some one look up stats and prove it. im faster that would be faster...ect no one knows exactly unless they have driven both or have the numbers on each

IMO M3 > 540.... 540 w/ltw flywheel and clutch > M3. 6 speed 540's have a really heavy flywheel.
